How to Get Connected to Taprap Twireless

Connecting to Taprap Twireless is fast, simple, and professional. This guide walks you through everything you need to get started — from initial request to live internet.


📞 Step 1: Request a Site Survey

Before installation, we must check for signal availability at your location.

  • Provide your name, phone number, and exact location

📍 Note: Site surveys are free or discounted in select coverage areas.

🧭 Step 2: Site Visit and Signal Test

Our technician will visit your location with test equipment to:

  • Measure signal strength

  • Confirm line-of-sight to the nearest base station

  • Recommend best mounting position (rooftop, pole, or wall)

If signal is strong, installation can proceed immediately or be scheduled.

📦 Step 3: Equipment Installation

We install two main devices:

🛰️ Outdoor Antenna (CPE)

  • Ubiquiti radio device mounted on a pole or wall

  • Points to the nearest Taprap base station

📶 Indoor Router

  • branded Wi-Fi router

  • Provides Wi-Fi and LAN connections inside your home or office

All necessary brackets, cables, and power supplies are included.

🔐 Step 4: PPPoE Account Setup

After installation:

  • You will receive your unique PPPoE username and password

  • The router will be configured to auto-connect using these credentials

  • If using your own router, our technician will assist in setup

📝 Reminder: Do not share your PPPoE details with others.

✅ Step 5: Testing & Activation

Before leaving, the technician will:

  • Run a speed test 

  • Confirm browsing and streaming work properly

  • Ensure you are connected to Taprap’s customer network

Once confirmed, your account is activated.

⏱️ Installation Timeline

  • Standard Areas: 1–3 working days after survey

  • Rural/Outskirts: 2–5 working days depending on terrain
