Guidelines for Responsible Use of Taprap Twireless Internet Services


📘 Overview

This Acceptable Use of Policy (AUP) defines the proper and acceptable behavior for all users of Taprap Twireless services. It ensures that the network remains stable, secure, and fair for everyone.

By accessing our services, you agree to follow the rules outlined in this policy.


1. ✅ General Usage Agreement

  • Customers must comply with this AUP at all times.

  • Violations may lead to account suspension or termination without prior notice.

  • Taprap reserves the right to update this policy as needed.


2. 📊 Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

To maintain service quality for all users:

  • Unlimited plans are subject to fair usage thresholds.

  • Extremely high usage may be subject to temporary speed throttling, especially during peak hours.

  • Users needing sustained heavy traffic should opt for business-grade or dedicated bandwidth plans.


3. 🚫 Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use the service to:

  • Access, share, or distribute illegal or harmful content

  • Run unauthorized VPNs, proxy servers, or open relays

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise networks or services

  • Send spam, viruses, or phishing emails

  • Violate intellectual property laws

  • Host web, mail, or file servers without written approval


4. 🔒 Account and Security Responsibility

  • Users are responsible for safeguarding their PPPoE login details and router access.

  • Do not share your connection with neighbors or other premises.

  • Report suspected account compromises immediately.


5. 🧰 Equipment & Ownership

  • Outdoor radios (CPEs) may be leased or sold depending on the selected plan.

  • Leased equipment remains Taprap property and must be returned if the service ends.

  • Tampering, relocation, or resale of Taprap equipment is strictly forbidden.


6. ⚙️ Service Reliability and Network Availability

Taprap Twireless strives for a 95% monthly service uptime. However, service may occasionally be disrupted by:

  • Power grid issues

  • Severe weather

  • Fiber cuts or third-party backbone problems

  • Routine maintenance (notified in advance)


7. ⏱️ Fault Handling and Support Response Time

Taprap provides responsive technical support.

  • The mean time to respond (MTTR) to fault reports is within 6 hours during working hours.

8. 💳 Billing and Account Suspension

  • Taprap operates a prepaid billing system.

  • Subscriptions expire at the end of the paid period; no browsing is allowed post-expiry.

  • Service is restored immediately after successful payment.


9. 🛑 Account Termination

Your service may be suspended or terminated for:

  • Breaching any section of this AUP

  • Engaging in illegal activity

  • Repeated overuse or bandwidth abuse

  • Disrespect or threats toward Taprap staff

  • Failure to return leased equipment

Customers are expected to comply with:
